Sony Ericsson Cyber Gallery

Sony Ericsson needed a gallery space that felt as forward-thinking as the brand itself. The response was a form that resists easy categorisation, part iceberg, part gemstone, part lantern.

Translucent during the day and glowing after dark, the structure shifts character with the light rather than sitting static in it.

Portability was baked into the design from the start. The base was built to the exact footprint of a standard shipping container, meaning the entire structure could be loaded and moved without modification.

A steel frame rose from that base, clad in a translucent skin that gave the pavilion its signature luminous quality, robust enough to travel, refined enough to stop people in their tracks.
